Hello. I specialize in graphic design and development for web applications.
I’ve just finished my first Spam Karma plugin. It integrates CAPTCHAs from reCAPTCHA into the system, authors who submit comments within a certain error margin are given the opportunity to solve a CAPTCHA from reCAPTCHA, in much the same way as the built-in CAPTCHA module. (Indeed, some of my code is based on that module.)
Download reCAPTCHA for Spam Karma 2 (Version 1)
If you have any problems post them here in the comments.
Obviously you need Spam Karma installed. If you don’t want Spam Karma, reCAPTCHA provides a standalone WordPress plugin here.
Upload the plugin in text mode (most (s)FTP programs will do this automatically) to your /wp-content/plugins/sk2/sk2_plugins folder. Visit the administration page for Spam Karma in the Options section. Near the bottom you will find the reCAPTCHA configuration. You will need to enter the public and private key for your domain before the plugin will work.
